GAF product renderingGAF Shingle Colors —
The Full Palette for California
Westmark installs GAF's Timberline HDZ® and Grand Sequoia® shingles in the complete color range — from Title-24 cool-roof shades to the full standard palette. Depending on your climate zone, California's energy code may require a cool-roof color; enter your ZIP below and we'll show you exactly which colors qualify for your home.
Which Colors Can You Choose?
California's Title-24 energy code requires "cool-roof" colors — shades with a high Solar Reflective Index (SRI) that bounce back heat — but only in certain climate zones. In many coastal and mild zones there's no cool-roof requirement at all, so the full standard palette is on the table. Enter your ZIP to see what applies to your home.
Check Your Climate Zone
California's Title-24 energy code only requires "cool-roof" colors in certain climate zones. Enter your ZIP to see whether a re-roof at your address needs a cool-roof color — and which colors below qualify.
This is a guide, not a code determination. Exemptions exist (a radiant barrier, no attic ducts in the roof space, a heavier roof assembly, or a whole-building performance trade-off), and local jurisdictions can vary. We confirm the exact compliant options for your home at your free on-site consultation.
